    • He’s a local eccentric a la Quentin Crisp, he is going to the concert, I suspect he might quite like the music of the bears if he managed to clock it – maybe I will bring him in to the story at some other point! He just kind of appeared in the picture….

    • Thank you for satisfying my curiosity! There are so many fun details in these pictures. Another example: “No banjos.” Anti-banjo discrimination is so unfair! 😀

  2. Yes, anti-banjo discrimination is a scourge indeed. I am having great fun doing these pictures in detail, rather than in rough, though it does take some time (plenty of that going spare at the moment). I feel I really get to know the characters and the setting when I spend more time with them. Lovely to have your comments. Many thanks.
