Patch of Sunlight 1

Patch of Sunlight 1

Last time I went out with my camera it was snowing, could see this by looking back at the card… The Midnight Hare has taken up my energy, but now it is at the printers, I can do no more. Yesterday I started taking photographs, and right away small images tugged at my mind. It was mostly the May sunlight on grass beside the pathway down to the River Leet, and on the water itself.

  1. I have missed your photographs!! I imagined that you were working on The Midnight Hare and was enjoying your postings about its progress. But I found myself thinking of the glimpses of the river which you shared in past years. So happy the beloved book is finished and the river Tweed is speaking again through your lens!

    • Hello Allison, thank you for your lovely comment. I have missed taking photographs, thought I didn’t think about it until the camera was back in my hands, and then it all clicked in again. Yesterday was good for going out with the camera, as the light was dappled and lovely. Warm today, but the light not so delicate. Thank you again for writing to me, it is good to hear from you, and I am so pleased that you enjoy my photographs.
