  1. one can almost imagine swashbuckling scenes of battle upon the hillsides! or … fairies and elves checking out the bit of rainbow! lol nice photo!

    • It was an evening of strange light. Yes, there was much bloodshed in the past, as this was Reiver country – the place was lawless, literally. Now so tranquil, though I am sure there are hidden feuds and problems, as there always are, everywhere. I used to live in Liddesdale, when my son was young, and have never stopped loving the place.
