    • Sweet little wren, I caught it just as I came back from a walk in Liddesdale, where we had gone for a week’s holiday. The river Liddel is the barrier between England and Scotland, but further west than the Tweed. Plenty of moss on the stones as there is plenty of rain in Liddesdale (Reiver country) – maybe due to the forestry. It’s nickname is “Weeping Valley”, though there are plenty of sunlit days there too.
