cherrySo frou-frou, so pretty.  Why does nature always get the perfect colours together, blossom and leaf, subtle, and just right…

  1. Love cherry blossoms Cara, I grew up in a region of NY State that grow sweet and sour cherries – I used to work int he summer times picking them.

    • Cherry trees are everywhere in flower at the moment, but not the kind that bear edible fruit, not round here anyway, it’s barley and wheat country, the fruit orchards are in the West Country and Kent mostly, or that is how I remember it. Much of the fruit nowadays seems to come from abroad, though come to think of it, Scottish raspberries are available in the summer. I once worked picking strawberries – back-breaking, and it put me off the fruit for a while! Nice to hear from you, Mary.
