    • Thanks, Cathy. I liked the little boat, and the ducks taking off, with their reflection in the water. We are having this beautiful February, I find it difficult to be indoors. If I want to get back to do some work, I take a walk up to the farm at the top of the hill, as though it has nice views, there is nothing that tempts me to photograph there – if I am stopping and starting with the camera, walks take twice as long, especially in this winter light which makes things look rather enchanting.

    • Yes, Harrie – I am fascinated by the waters of the Tweed – “the silvery Tweed” as it is called in verse – and the fascination is made more by this being the Border river between two countries. There is a quietness about this part of the world, cross-border traffic and the sound of shooting notwithstanding….
