  1. I love this shot with the beautiful sky and tree sillhouettes showing through the curve of the bridge.

    • Thanks, Annette. I had to manouevre the camera quite a lot to get the light in the sky and the light in the water at the same time. I think this shot came out the best. I had to deliberately ignore the instructions the camera was giving me vis-a-vis focus!

      • I’m only just learning this, after a couple of day-long courses with a professional photographer. Illuminating, but the more one learns the more one knows how little one knows….

      • …and more and more. We are so fortunate to live in an age where technology is so amazing, and gives such a possibility for expression to so many people, it is a completely new time we live in. Children wouldn’t recognise the old ways of doing things.
