Autumn Branch

ahirsel28

Starting to use a tripod, on this one-day photography course at The Hirsel, took a picture of these leaves against the beautiful spotted tree-trunk behind. Busy at the moment finishing a design for the Union Chain Bridge appeal. Then I will be doing a blog about our day at the Hirsel and over the next week will get the camera attached to the tripod and try some more shots using the settings on manual.  Something has penetrated my thick, auto-functioning skull vis-a-vis all this, and I look forward to testing my scanty understanding of the process further.
