Coldstream

Coldstream

The end of summer. A small fisherman just visible in the lee of the bend, opposite one of the boats that are moored all along this stretch of River Tweed.  Oh, and a swan, of course; and on the horizon, the three  towers of Coldstream, the centre one being  that of the parish church, whose bells can be heard from miles away, but not from my bedroom, which is only a few yards distant.
