Running Hare: All That Was

A hare painting for an exhibition entitled “Running With The Hare” at Harestanes Country Visitor Centre, painted two months ago but just finished now as it needs to be sent off to be framed. The mixed exhibition will be on from April 1st until May 26th, and will include painting, prints, sculpture, drawings, photography, 17th Dutch and new tiles, and textiles.

    • Thanks, Robin, glad you like the painting. I don’t do prints of my paintings unfortunately, and since this is quite big, by my standards anyway, I can’t really do a high resolution scan and send it to you as my scanner is only A4 (otherwise I would). I’ve put the details of the exhibition in the Hare post on my blog, maybe you’ll get over and see it if you are in the area. C

  3. Hmmmm…. I will be at Kilham, (Northumberland) for a week in May. While the purpose is to spend precious time with elderly family members, I might have to see if we could take a ride to Jedburgh! I would love to see your piece and the entire exhibition!

    • Its quite a personal painting for me,so I am glad it got through to you, Doron. Hares mean something to me at the moment, I am soon going to start on the new pictorial draft of “The Midnight Hare”, as I think I have go the tmore or less as as I want it. Have been practising watercolour techniques, as my last rough didn’t please me. Hope you are OK, my thoughts are with you. x

I appreciate your thoughts it is not easy at the moment but I have to get through and with people like yourself it make it so easy to work at it. Some time you realise in life that another small lines make no different, it is all about being able to do any, so enjoy every second xx
