  1. Beautiful, but frightening! I’m not familiar with your country so I’m not sure if you are directly affected by the floods I see reported on BBC and Sky… I hope you and your world are safe…

    • Hi there. Thank you for yoru concern for us in UK. Much of the weather over here has been, by our standards anyway, diabolical. Today winds over Wales and the North West are gusting at over 100 miles an hour, and there is serious flooding throughout the south of England, including the Thames Valley. But in the Scottish Borders we have had a tranquil winter. Very strange, as it is usually tough up here. The photograph is of the waters of the River Tweed (the Border river) going over a small weir, in the late afternoon with faint rays of sun reflected.

    • I do like the water going over the weir, there is something magical about those varied silvers as the sun goes down. My new camera seems to pick up these delicate colours…..
