Borders Sky III

asky7

A big pink cloud, the light failing fast, a skein of geese flies past, then another skein of geese, flying along the path of the Tweed, the plaintive sound of their honking like no other sound. The cloud is wispy, the photograph is wispy, but I am glad they have crossed the eye of the lens all the same. Bon voyage.

Borders Sky II

asky3

Within a few moments it seems the sky turns from white and blue to gold.  I look towards Trimontium but it is shrouded today, just a smudge on the horizon. I have walked up along the edge of the golf course, through the little wood, and now turn back towards the Edinburgh road, which I will cross before going down the lane that leads towards the Tweed.
