  1. Beautifully done. I often try to capture the effects of wind–but not to such powerful effect as you have achieved here.

    • Luck, really. I didn’t go out to get a picture of the wind in the tree, and didn’t know whether I could capture it when I saw the way the wind was twisting the branches and leaves, but when I looked later I did think the photograph had caught a tad, a moment, of that energy. Thanks for your comment. I very much liked your photograph of the hawk, and will follow your blog with interest.

    • It was an amazingly windy day, the trees were almost corkscrewing. I do like September, not quite sure wny, since nearly all the wild flowers have gone and it is growing colder. But autumn in the Borders can be beautiful – like on the drive over the moors to Langhom, the colours I remember as being so vivid. Though it’s along time since I was up there. We used to live in Liddesdale, just across the Border, and a bit of my heart will always be there.

    • Good morning, Doron. Honestly I had no idea if I would be able to capture this movement. I took a couple of photographs, and when I looked at them on the computer I was pleased that this energy seemed to have been expressed. I particularly like it that the movement is against a blue sky, somehow it makes it more dramatic. Like your new paintings, such delicate colour.
